Overview

Match, the OG dating app, wanted to cut through the holiday clutter and remind singles that they offer premium support for daters. Our answer – put a modern spin on the classic hotline.

Our Solution

Through AskMatch, a feature that connects users with real dating coaches via phone, we launched The Holiday Hotline. Ahead of Thanksgiving and more importantly ahead of lots of family time, singles could call into the hotline and ask Match’s dating coaches their most pressing questions. From when to intro your partner, to how to navigate grandmas questions about sexuality, nothing was off limits. The simple idea enabled Match to continue the narrative around their dating coaches and reinforce their premium offerings. 

Results

Through a simple idea, expert spokespersons and strategic media outreach, we cut through holiday clutter, landing a feature segment on CBS This Morning, alongside Bustle, CNN, Swoon and Scripps.
