Praytell is looking for a Freelance Community Manager from November 1 – January 10, 2019 from any location. This is a non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

As a Community Manager you will be:

  • Cultivating communities across social media channels for brands on a daily basis by posting content, proactively engaging with audiences and keeping an eye out for engagement opportunities
  • Partnering with the day to day account, project management and creative teams to support deliverables to the finish line
  • Fielding digital customer service questions 
  • Assisting the strategy team in reporting and analytics
  • Participating in weekly client calls and team meetings

About You

Experience: You have about 1+ year of experience as a community manager under your belt (bonus points if it’s at an agency). You’re proficient in one or more content management tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite or Percolate in the past. You’ve got an understanding of good customer service and how to relay it over written text while remaining professional and on-brand.

Excellent Writer: You know AP style is just as important as being creative in writing. You can communicate ideas clearly whether you’re doing it in your voice or a client’s. 

Wildly Organized: You’re able to be extremely organized as shown by your ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to details. You’ve got experience working on several projects across multiple clients and a variety of channels all at once with patience. 

Positive Attitude: You’re able to stay calm in tight turn arounds and changing needs with a positive attitude. You’re excited to share ideas, big and small, and are excited to learn. 

Flexible and Adaptable: You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done! You understand that you may be required to work irregular hours, nights and weekends, etc. as dictated by client deliverables. You’re willing to jump in and help others no matter the task or level.

Ethics and Integrity: You approach all work ethically and honestly, setting an example for your colleagues. You do the right thing, even when it’s hard taking responsibility and being accountable for actions and apply these standards to those around you.
