Account Strategy Manager
Praytell is looking for an Account Strategy Manager to join our Public Relations team. This position is an exempt role and based in Chicago, but location is flexible to our other offices. Are you ready? Let’s do this!

- As an Account Strategy Manager, you will be:
- Managing client projects from beginning to end and/or leading accounts, working with junior team members and internal departments to coordinate and complete each step in the process
- Acting as point of contact for clients leading communication day to day
- Overseeing pitch programs for announcements working with all stakeholders such as media, vendors, or partner agencies
- Participating in account health management tasks such as budget tracking, team allocations, contract drafting and profitability
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and competitive landscape using this knowledge to proactively identify opportunities
- Participating in and presenting trainings and other agency programs for staff, new business and culture initiatives
Experienced: You have about 4-6 years of experience in public relations, communications, and/or client service in a related field in an agency environment. You’ve got experience leading campaigns and managing work streams, with a plethora of industry knowledge at your fingertips.
Excellent Communicator: You are able to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing. You understand how to change your communication approach depending on your audience. You have an awareness of the nuances that influence communication such as body language and tone. You know your way around a deck and are comfortable presenting to clients and colleagues.
Proactive Problem Solver: You can see hiccups before they happen and know that being proactive keeps clients happy and employees engaged. You get excited at the prospect of a new challenge and have ideas ready to go.
Flexible and Adaptable: You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done! You understand that you may be required to work irregular hours, nights and weekends, etc. as dictated by client deliverables. You’re willing to jump in and help others no matter the task or level.
Ethics and Integrity: You approach all work ethically and honestly, setting an example for your colleagues. You do the right thing, even when it’s hard taking responsibility and being accountable for actions and apply these standards to those around you.
