Freelance Senior Designer
Praytell is looking for a Freelance Senior Designer to support our Creative team by developing digital content from concept to delivery for various clients from our Brooklyn office. This is a contracted full-time, non-exempt position from June 15, 2019 – November 30, 2019.

As a Freelance Senior Designer, you will be:
- Joining a multi-disciplinary team that works in a variety of mediums making editorial videos, animations, brand identities, presentations and more.
- Designing within a range of digital and print mediums and seeing them through from concept to completion.
- Working as part of an integrated team with other designers, project managers, video editors, copywriters, animators, and account team members across our offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin and Chicago.
- Brainstorming creative solutions with design team, account and strategy teams, project managers, etc.
- Interpreting creative briefs and client needs to develop and edit creative deliverables.
- Expected to complete work on time and under tight deadlines (sometimes).
Experienced: You have 4-6 years of professional graphic design experience in an agency environment (social, digital or PR agency is a plus). You’ve juggled multiple projects at once and successfully managed deadlines to deliver quality work. You’re familiar with consumer brands and understand how their needs and creative direction differ from other industries.
High Proficiency: You have a sound knowledge in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Sketch, XD), Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Spreadsheet) and an array of digital programs including Mailchimp, WordPress, Squarespace, FTP, cPanel, and GoDaddy Management.
Creative Direction: You possess a creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality for both web and social media design. You demonstrate an understanding of design principles (storyboarding, animation, interface design, basic HTML + CSS) and are aware of social tactics and trends in visual content.
Flexible and Adaptable: You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done! You understand that you may be required to work irregular hours, nights and weekends, etc. as dictated by client deliverables. You’re willing to jump in and help others no matter the task or level.
Ethics and Integrity: You approach all work ethically and honestly, setting an example for your colleagues. You do the right thing, even when it’s hard taking responsibility and being accountable for actions and apply these standards to those around you.
