Overview

The Praytell People and Operations team (or POPs, as we call it) is looking for someone to support core human resource functions, operations and our amazing staff! We are an equal opportunity employer. We welcome all human people at our company and do not discriminate. Period.

Role

People & Operations Strategist

Brooklyn

POPs leads the company’s human resources, finance, culture, recruiting, office spaces and much more. This year alone, we opened a Chicago office, rolled out a massive wellness program and approved (what feels like) 14 million expense reports, but at the end of the day, POPs is responsible for creating a positive and healthy environment that sets up employees to do their best work every day.

How do we do that?

Strategic and creative thinking:
Praytell is growing fast, which means the POPs team is constantly assessing processes that work for a changing staff and business. Whether it’s new salary data or a shift in budgets, our team is informed and ready to make make strategic and creative changes.

People-first mentality:
Our people are our most valuable asset and resource. Kindness matters. Trust matters. Remembering people’s birthdays matter. If it’s important to an employee, it matters.

Asking “WHY?”:
With complex compliance laws, changing regulations and a whole lot of paperwork, it’s important we stop and ask ourselves “Why are we doing this,” both ensuring we’re staying efficient and protecting our employees first and foremost.

Drive business:
Our view on people management, operations and HR is that these functions directly drive our business. Happy employees do better work. Smart spending means more perks!

Doing the right thing:
Praytell is grounded in this value. We expect everyone to do right by their clients, teammates and communities. The POPs team embodies this and lives it every day.
