Senior Account Strategist

Praytell is looking for a Senior Account Strategist to support our Public Relations team to develop and implement the overall strategy and objectives for various clients from our Austin office. This is a full-time, exempt position.
- Managing client projects from beginning to end, working with junior team members to coordinate and complete each step in the process
- Acting as point of contact for clients on projects and asks
- Coordinating with agency departments on integrated requests when possible
- Supporting account lead with planning, strategy, briefs, timelines, and other high level deliverables
- Staying up-to-date on news and social trends impacting client industry and proactively making recommendations internally and externally
- Participating in mentorship and training programs for junior staff development
- Overseeing the development of briefs, statements of work, and project templates and tools
Experienced: You have about 3-4 years of experience in public relations, communications, and/or client service in a related field in an agency environment. You’ve worked with media ranging from pitching to events for multiple projects or accounts. You’ve worked on multiple account teams at once and interacted with clients regularly. You’re familiar with consumer brands and how their needs differ from other industries.
Excellent Communicator: You are able to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing. You understand how to change your communication approach depending on your audience. You have an awareness of the nuances that influence communication such as body language and tone. You’re comfortable presenting to clients and colleagues.
Relationship Builder: You strive to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with others including colleagues, clients, vendors, partners and media. You work collaboratively with teammates and peers across departments to deliver the best quality work.
Flexible and Adaptable: You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done! You understand that you may be required to work irregular hours, nights and weekends, etc. as dictated by client deliverables. You’re willing to jump in and help others no matter the task or level.
Ethics and Integrity: You approach all work ethically and honestly, setting an example for your colleagues. You do the right thing, even when it’s hard taking responsibility and being accountable for actions and apply these standards to those around you.
