Overview

 “Drinkwiser” is Budweiser’s responsible drinking platform that has one simple mission: to get fans to hydrate between Buds. To honor the 10th anniversary of their commitment to responsible drinking, Budweiser wanted to execute a creative campaign that could speak to a larger audience. Budweiser has been a longtime partner of the NBA, and wanted to involve them in a creative campaign to celebrate their 22nd year of collaboration. The goal: inspire this season’s sports fans to commit to responsible drinking and “Hydrate Between Buds”—whether at home, their favorite bar or anywhere they’re rooting on their team.

Our Solution

Praytell and Motive created “Daydreaming,” a short film with break-the-internet potential, aimed at transforming the way NBA fans think about smart drinking. With help from Anthony Anderson and LA Laker Danny Green, we proved that anything is possible when you hydrate between buds.

Results

The long-form and 30-second spot was immediately recognized for its clear, creative and effective message of “hydrating between beers” and was covered by outlets like CNBA, Ask Men, Fansided and Good Morning America. It debuted during the 2019 season and aired during games on Christmas day to millions of viewers.
